If I am precleared for entry into US in YYZ, do I have to pass through security again when changing terminals in ORD? Can I get the PA to assist me through that nightmare? What would be the best route to go?

Sorry - newbie question I know .... first time in ORD in International first.

Thanks in advance!
You will arrive at ORD on a domestic gate in Terminal 2, There are two connections airside between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1.

My preference is to walk. If you go from your gate toward the exit in Terminal 2, there will be a sign for connecting to Terminal 1 on your left. DO NOT EXIT SECURITY (or you will have to go through security again, needlessly). You will enter Terminal 1 around gate B6.

You can also take an airside shuttle near gate E3 that will take you to the C Concourse in Terminal 1, near gate C9.

Since you only have a 3 hours layover at ORD, I would stay at the airport. The United Club in Terminal 2 (near gate F4) was just recently renovated and is a model for new club design. The first class lounge near gate C18 has the best food/alcohol selection, but it is a very small lounge and would barely compare with an LH Sen lounge. Your flight will probably leave from gate B16.

If you need suggestions for things to do at ORD, I would visit the Chicago forum.
