Sad, but it's a fact that many people looking into adopting pets expect them to be free indeed.... usually the fees charged to adoptees are below the cost incurred for the rescue organization/shelter already as it is.
It is a purchase , not an adoption. People have ownership of pets
Is there that much of a shortage of animals needing new homes actually within the US itself that there needs importing of pets and that this should be subsidised by AA?
