In about 4 years of being gold i have only been acknowledged when i am traveling in F or J, and even that hasn't happened recently. Never been acknowledged much less given Champagne in Y... last time i had forgotten my egate card and asked for purser, purser didn't show up, the senior flight attendant came and i asked her if i could get a fast track pass, she first asked if i was gold, to which i said yes, then she said now they check boarding passes at the fast track line (not sure if its true), then she said she would get me one, never saw her again!
