I once forgot my favourite shirt on a Delta plane (BE, upper cabin of 747, so it's not easy for someone else to grab it). Called DL some 10-15 min after getting out of the plane to ask them to find it, e-mailed an hour later also to follow-up, but I got the sense that they didn't even bother looking.

Congrats here to the OP. That's a great experience, though, I'm affraid, quite different from the norm (of DL not even trying to look for forgotten objects -- at least based off my limited experience).
