Any amenity I've ever gotten (fruit plate now and then and wine once at the Dip) is from the GM of the hotel and not my Ambassador. I was unaware that one was able to specify a welcome gift through the Ambassador program, though mine has sent me gifts on occasion (a nice book on my birthday etc).
