I'd like to be on or at least near the beach. I've heard the Hilton is a good option. Are the executive rooms worth the extra money? Do they just give you access to the lounge or are the actual rooms nicer?
IMO Tel Aviv lacks any true luxury hotel as youŽd find them in other large cities such as NY, London, Paris etc.
The best hotel IMO is the David Intercontinental which is on the beach (or across the road to be exact), but is a bit further away from the busy parts of the beach (closer to Jaffa).
My 2nd choice would probably be the Dan Hotel followed by the the Hilton or possibly Isrotel or the Dan Panorama.
CanŽt really comment on particular room categories at the Hilton, sorry..
