As I was the OP, I should add that I'm really pleased that the issue has been resolved - both by the option to generate an access code without a compatible mobile phone and the extension to 24 hrs.

Just for the record: It took 147 days ... (counted from 01 Jan to 27 May, Gianrico's post)
