I am one who pays for F on UA sometimes. I pay for F out of my own pocket for vacations, not a business expense.

If I can get a R/T to Europe for $7K or $8K and get a pretty good seat (with average service) on the days I want to fly, instead of $18K on LH for a pretty good seat with excellent service....you are not paying for F period....but I do.
