It's very common for bulk (consolidator) tickets to be excepted from the rules for published fares, especially regarding exchanges, upgrades and changes. Unfortunately you give up a lot of flexibility in exchange for price when you buy unpublished fares.

Once the flights are under airport control day of departure you might be able to upgrade, as they can seat your anywhere they want without reissuing your ticket. Ask at the airport.
