I asked about my Premier and the rep said they are working on enhancing the TY cards and consolidating them. Premier is off the site now, so it might get moved to Prestige or down to Preferred.
Sadly they may mean consolidating the various cards which earn Thank You points which are not just the TY Preferred, Premier & Prestige but also includes cards like the Citi Forward.
The Citi Forward (non College Students) hasn't been on the site for quite some time and with the enhancements coming to the TY Preferred, it concerns me that they'll try to convert existing Citi Forward customers to the Preferred with its 2x Dining and Entertainment structure compared to the 5x the Forward currently has.
If this occurs, hopefully AA transfers will happen for Citi TY Premier (especially as AA just confirmed that they will be keeping their Citi relationship after the merger).
Otherwise a 2x earning structure will compare unfavorably to the 2x CSP as those points transfer to UA, BA and other programs making them much more valuable than 1.33c per point.
