I called MBNA and they had my correct AAdvantage # and said the miles transfered the day after my bill was generated. They suggested I called AA directly. AA didn't see any incoming transfers, but they did say that credit card partners sometime post on certain dates. She mentioned that CitiBank (USA) posts on the 1st week and 3rd week of a month. So i am going to give it another few weeks and see what happens.
But MBNA post points as soon as the statement is produced (per MBNA customer rep, confirmed by AA) - at least, that was the story when I spoke to them! MBNA send data to AA and normally points appear on the AA account within 48 hours (as others can verify).
My points still haven't posted; the AA team was looking into it after having taken specific details (last 4 digits of card, number of points expected, etc.). I will be giving them yet another call soon...
