Interesting you should say that, but one of the slides in the last
Investor Day presentation stuck in my head and is about that very point.
On KLM, a significant number of seats are sold in advance, often far longer than just 2 months. See slide 97. It even touts how the increase (on many routes) from the basic €99 advance fare had failed to hurt the number of advance bookings on a year previously.
