Thanks oliver2002 and Rambuster!

Last questions - If the delayed flight was weather related, does that make it less likely that LH would attempt a PS rebooking given that they aren't partners? And if the aunt is traveling on a foreign passport without a German visa, would they let her check into a hotel?
