Actually we only found out when checking in. Prior to arriving, I'd requested and agreed to pay for an upgrade to a Pool Villa on our last night only. When we checked in, Angelo, the Guest Services Manager, surprised us by mentioning that we'd spend just the first 2 nights in the Park Villa we booked, and then the remaining 5 nights in a Pool Villa. I do think it helped that this was a late May stay, so technically during monsoon season and there was greater availability for them to be able to upgrade us. We were very appreciative though, since with a 5 year old we used our villa pool daily or even 2x/day.
