As you might be able to tell from my FT name, I go through this airport frequently!! My first thought was that they were training new personnel, but it seems to be a broader and permanent change. I've got no idea why they are doing this. Perhaps it is related to the "extra" passport/ticket check they do at the gate before flights into DCA?
