Well if you would like to have an amazing restaurant destination to spend a few hours at, just scroll through the Michelin starred restaurants in Belgium. You can google around, but here is an example.

Gent and Brugges are two very picturesque old towns that you should enjoy very much. Easy walking, or take a boat tour. After lunch I prefer to just drive around the south, with a GPS in case I need it, and see what there is to see in the various sized Walloon towns.
