Forget about the meal, but do complain about the wheel chair aspect. UA employees are not good at handling those with a disability.

From my experience file a complaint with the Department of Transportation on a Disability and Discrimination complaint. Here is the link :

http://www.dot.gov/airconsumer/file-consumer-complaint

Fill in the complaint form with the information. Also write UA and send a copy of the complaint telling them you have filled a Discrimination Complaint with the Dept of Transportation. From experience I find the government actually follows through with you and UNITED. UNITED has to respond to you.

I heard bac from the government and UNITED ( a real letter and a phone call) saying that a FA had been taken out of service for "retraining". It is the only way to get UA to respond since the government requires it.

UA needs to address the insensitivity of their employees to people with Disabilities.
