I do use room service on business trips when I'm too tired or too busy to go down to the restaurant or to search for something else to eat. I have ordered outside food to the hotel in limited-service properties, and it is a little bit of hassle to schlep down to the lobby to meet the delivery guy, but could be worse. I suspect we'll be seeing full-service hotels which discontinue room service to start partnering with particular nearby restaurants or services like grubhub.
