We just returned from a 5 night stay here. I was disappointed we were not able to use SANs, but I'm not sure how many suites this property has. (This will probably be the last year as Platinum as room upgrades become more rare.) There was a large sales-incentive group at the property and as a result often the only available dining was at the Playa Restaurant.

I chose this property over the Sheraton mainly because of the Royal Beach Club. I'll probably choose the Sheraton next time. We visited friends there and our kids liked the pool there better (plus Sheraton had a hot-tub, Westin had a warm-tub), the similar pool menu was about 30% cheaper and our friends got a suite upgrade without using SNAs.

On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. I would be happy to stay here again, but would like to try the Sheraton next time down there.

P.S. After researching the airport transfer options we ending up booking Cabo Transfers via their website and getting a private 6 person Expedition for $125 RT. Both trips went smoothly.
