Hey everyone,
I'm new here, but I have an A3 Blue account with 4,709 tier miles, with another 3,709 coming in from my recent flight from PVG-EWR. It was a discounted fare though, so only 50% accrual.
So after some quick math, I still need 11,582 miles by this coming January to get to *G.
I am very bad with booking and really don't know the technical stuff (I use Kayak if that gives you any reference), so I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with the cheapest fare to get me over the threshold? I'd prefer to fly out of PHL, but can do any of the New York airports as well (just have to pay to get there). I'd try and fly sometime in mid-July or August.
Let me know! I appreciate anything and everything you guys can do for me! Also, any tips on how to improve my own booking skills would be appreciated as well. Cheers!

A very popular site to search for good fares is
ITA Matrix. It allows you to search in a more flexible way. One very powerful option is to search for lists of airports near you (or at the destination) instead of just one. Also it can search for flights over a longer period of time, and not just one-day searches.
In regards to earning miles it is flexible since it will show you the fare-class that the flights use. The fare class is important as it will tell you how many miles you will earn with Aegean. The earning tables can be found here:

When you have found a good flight you can then search for the flight using Kayak, Expedia, or the airline website, and book there. ITA only shows you the information but does not allow to book the flights through their website.
