I've been using a 15cm x 20cm bag since the beginning of this year. I collected it at AMS security when my old back ruptured its contents. With its deeper proportions I can easily fit a full size toothbrush inside without straining the plastic skin of the bag. It has not presented any problems at any airport I've been through, though I haven't travelled out of MAN recently.
