For the particular flight I was on, Spring was maybe $20 or $30 cheaper than the alternatives, and I chose them only because the schedule was more convenient. Then they changed the schedule. To heck with them. A 7:30 pm flight with a non-reclining seat is one thing, but a 9:30 pm flight that turns into an 11:00 pm flight because of delays - well, just a few inches of recline would have made it ever so much more bearable.
