I was recently sitting in 20C on a 752 config in which that was the Exit Row with the door being used. I had all my luggage ready to go, and FA let me be the first off the plane, blocking the rest of Y behind me. Perhaps she wasn't following policy, but I would not have been amused waiting for all 26 F passengers to deplane.

On a side note, I usually take row 27 on 752, and it's far enough back that I can't see what's going on at the door, and deplaning procedure has never really bothered me before.
