Greenland has no roads linking towns. Only shipping or flying. Ships gon't go through icebergs too well, nor do aircraft operate in crappy foggy conditions. Its really hard conditions and they need every bit of help from aircraft (helos. and fixed wing). Flights are expensive and often full. Don't expect any help if the flight is delayed for days due weather!
