Yes, I did get that mail to place my order by certain date. Had that happen to US Dividend miles but those were negligible so didnt care.
Had that happen with my US Dividend miles which were really getting ready to expire. I got a few subscriptions from their very limited selection. One of them was the Wall Street Journal and it's never come. I still need to get in touch with them and select something else.
If you really do want to burn the miles then I'd suggest the
SkyMiles Marketplace.
The redemption rate is pretty bad but it's better than only being able to choose from an extremely small selection of magazines.
