I've been following this thread (saw the docu/movie) and this post sort of convinced me that perhaps I shouldn't discount the idea of experiencing this.
Question is do you need the most discerning palate to "get" the point of this meal or will you try it and "just know"
If you're talking about high end sushi in Japan (as opposed to this particular restaurant) - my attitude is you have to try it at least once (unless you don't like sushi or have dietary issues with it). I think most people will like it - even if they can't say that it's worth the extra cost to them. What reservations do you have about trying it? Robyn
