Sorry, but how is the airline at fault here? You booked and paid for flights when they were offered. You're now (presumably) trying to cancel that agreement. Flexible fares are more expensive than non-flexible fares for a reason.
I never said the airline is at fault...I said I made a mistake as I was booking too many things at once.
But in some countries there is a 24 hour cooling off period (USA and some Airlines in the UK) under constitutional aviation or consumer law when these things happen for consumers who make mistakes/change their mind.
