An early start to day with a pick up at 07:15 at the hotel for our street food tour. A Tasmanian expat who fell in love with Vietnam runs foodie tours in the mornings and our tour company put us in his hands.

We started by going out to a local street café and having a lovely fruit starter followed by a glass of ice tea.

We did a brief tour of the market that we were at the previous day and tried a local savoury crepe.

After this we wandered down the street and stopped by a street seller to have
some silken tofu with ginger sauce

Further down the street another street stall was selling a sesame health elixir.

It was a stifling hot day so we made an unscheduled pit stop at an ice cream vendor for some delicious coconut ice cream.





Across the street we were able to sample a local crème caramel.

Then a wee taster of some lovely BBQ pork that had been marinated in lemongrass and coriander.
