Ok... So we had reservations for 6 today on Delta from AGS to ATL and then on to DTW. Delta pushed the AGS to ATL leg back an hour meaning we were going to miss the DTW flight. The only option given was 0645 tomorrow eventually getting to DTW at 1030am.

My father made the reservations and is a go along to get along don't make waves type of guy so therefore doesn't really care.

What type of compensation if any would be offered by Delta in this type of situation?

What is the best method for me to ask for compensation?

Cancellation of todays flight cost us 2 (non refundable reservation) rooms for one night in a hotel. (ie 260ish dollars).
