It looks like BA are really trying hard with SYD since the drop of codeshares with QF on the route. Switch to T5, new 77W aircraft, impending upgrade of the SIN lounge, and now this chauffeur service.
All good stuff (except arguably the loss of the upper deck on 744) ^
They also had an outdoor poster campaign in Sydney to advertise the fact they were not giving up on the route once the Qantas agreement ended.
However recent media reports in Australia said that Qantas had seen a significant increase in bookings, compared to the same time last year. Taking all these enhancements into account, if the route still doesn't perform it's hard to see what other actions are left (besides pulling out).
