My name, clearly along with conf # was in the email. And when I clicked on the link in the email, it pulled up my name and GP account number!

I just called GP CS and the property manager. What is more concerning is evidently this res was made from hotels.com and somehow my GP account number was entered in the res. This is how GP linked the res to my account and sent me this web check in email.

So, I called hotels.com, and there is no res under my hotels.com account (which I never use), email, or phone number, but there is one in my name. I have a common name so there could be a valid res....what is troubling is WHO entered my GP account info and tied it to this res. Most likely a Hyatt person did this since I see no place where a customer can tie a GP account number to a res on hotels.com.

What a hassle.

And by the way, I am watching my cc accounts for any fraudulent activity. So far, no problems.
