The route the taxi driver takes is more the problem. Got in a taxi in the middle of Melbourne recently and asked to be taken to St Kilda. "Where is St. Kilda" came the reply. Ok he had only been a taxi driver for two days but doesn't it make sense to have some knowledge of the town before you start? Now I am sure all the Melbourne locals might say that St. Kilda is another town but that would be missing the point.
