I was caught on Monday, BA boarding pass in Club Europe and Silver Card, but the guy was certain I had to use the long queue.
I pointed to the One World logo and he assured me that is for check-in and nothing to do with Fast track security...
Very poor service, that BA can't even negotiate this for Is premium customers....
The blame I don't think lies with Finnair. Finnair is allowing all OneWorld status passengers priority security for their flights, not just limiting it to Finnair status passengers.
BA (and other OW airlines) it seems are not paying for priority security for their flights from HEL.
It is far better than what was the case at LHR up to last year, where BA passengers with non-BA OW status were not entitled to priority security or fast track immigration.
It would be nice if OW status did give priority security, immigration, etc when flying OW at all OW hubs, but at the moment this is not the case.
