Can't comment on the routes Delta uses it on, but the CRJ have a good range for a jet of its size.

Delta utilizes all its fleet well across the board. If Delta doesn't need a larger plane and the CRJ does the route, then the CRJ is what they should run.

Delta even got a ferry flight from SIN to ATL nonstop on an A330 but with a fully loaded plane due to fueling requirements it would not have been able to handle it.

But the range on the CRJ's are very nice for its size and they are quality airplanes which have been successfully been used.
