just purchased a MR ticket on AA: MAD-DFW-GRU-DFW-LHR with all segments in "O" class... $609... 3.1cpm managed to get all segments on 77Ws and applied SWUs. everything was looking great!

then I remembered the nasty "O" exception with AA. darn! I think my MAD-DFW and DFW-LHR segments would still earn 100% eqm, though I can't tell from AS.com... It's mostly clear that the US-South/Central America segments are ineligible, but "O" segments to/from other destinations aren't specified as eligible or ineligible.

debating whether I should walk away from the ticket before the 24h free cancellation window closes... clarification on the MP's current handling of AA "O" class may help.

current language RE earning on AA from AS.com:

Earning on American Airlines

Economy Class Cabin: Earn actual flight miles* flown in B, C, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, Q, R, S, V, W, X or Y classes of service.
...
Elite Qualifying Flight Miles: Yes

*Earn 500 minimum miles on flights less than 500 miles. Actual miles flown = 1 mile per flight mile flown. Miles may not be earned for tickets flown in E, T, U or Z classes of service. Flights taken in O class between North America and Central or South America aren't eligible for mileage accrual. Some deeply discounted, and industry fares are ineligible to earn miles.
