Has a reason been given for the reject? I've had problems with Equifax not updating my address previously (even though I'm registered to vote, etc.). I've managed to successfully have CC rejections overturned by providing proof.
Reason was simply insufficient credit history in UK(been in UK as a student in 2004-7 and now living again since 1 year). Have an Amex in good standing but they wouldnt budge. Credit reports had correct address/electoral roll etc.
