FWIW, planning ahead at this property has yielded good rates for me. My last 3 stays: $229/nt (Dec 2012), $199/nt (July 2011), and $292/nt (May 2008 - Ocean View special is the reason this one was higher).
The rates I was seeing are the same or higher well into the New Year so they aren't ultra expensive last minute rack rates. I also feel using past sale rates as a barometer of future pricing is equally as unfair a measure as past pricing does not necesarily indicate future savings though that's only MHO.
