Yes, I should buy a phone recording device this past weekend and set it up though I never expected she would call back. I am pretty much ready to file the CFPB complaint.

It does not matter what the letter wording would be like, they have to prove what constitute "Fraud" and thus makes the customer a "Security Risk" when the customer had only utilized less than 5% of the card's CL when the TY account was locked WITHOUT any new TYPs earned from the Preferred cards in 2013 even transferred to the TY account.

Customer has paid in full well in advance in all the years being Citi customer. Other Citi cards do not have any activity. All in all the GCs purchased only used up less than 3% of the Total Credit line with Citi.

So what "security risk"?

They have to answer such questions - define what is "Fraud" and how it is a "Security Risk".

On top of that, she could not answer my question on whether purchase GCs with a no category bonus card is considered "Fraud" or not. I asked if a customer buys an iTune card, and Apple card, at the CVS store, would that also be considered "Fraud"? She said she would need to consult Citi's legal dept to find that out on both the questions.

Therefore, the key here is, the definition of "Fraud" Citi used, is very questionable especially GC is never listed in any of its T&Cs being a forbidden item to buy.
