pointing this out many posts back. The reality is, in my opinion at least, is that the changes have been actually positive for 5 domestic lounges, with a sharply improved offering; the changes have been fairly neutral - some improvements, some negatives - for 8 lounges (Arrivals, Gatwicks, CCR, GCs); but the 2 LHR Flounges have taken a hit. Specifically one area of the Flounge, the hot buffet after 12 midday. I personally think wrapped cake versus the new fruit loaf (etc etc) is too micro focused, but I know many posters here would disagree with this. I have now visited every BaxterStorey lounge in the BA UK network and I do think a sense of perspective needs to be brought to this.
I couldn't agree more. This whole thread generally needs a bit of perspective. The changes to the flounge are not particularly great but I don't see hordes of us defecting to other airlines as a result (which is about the only thing that would make BA take notice...not this neverending thread)
