I didn't want to in order to give me flexibility on which flight to take back as the length of meeting is not determinable

I appreciate I may have to do something to be fair, it will of course have been security checked on way through to the lounge as standard

I just couldn't see anything that stops you roaming the airport and leaving items in lounge so it followed for that if I go out and come back it would in theory be the same.

Will have to consider fixing my flight as mentioned in order to allow me to check the bag in, it will be more than 3 hours before my flight though, would I not risk being too early ?
