Maybe you'll have better luck. It would be much more convenient for me to use Enterprise around home but I go out of my way to use the HLE closest to me (farther away from home than Enterprise though) because the Enterprise location is such an awful experience all around. They don't care, they don't have to.

For that matter I continue to consistently find better rates at Hertz than that Enterprise, so my only penalty is traveling more to pick up the car and/or not getting a pick up at home if I wanted one (the HLE is marginally outside that zone). But where you find better rates will always vary somewhat by area.
