Every morning except sunday, you can take a seabus for a fun and inexpensive 25 minutes ride to Eminomu (close to all the tourist attractions).
You can catch the same seabus to go back to Ortakoy in early evening.
Kamfer, what is the name of the seabus? Alternatively, did you try taking a bus from Ortakoy to Kabatas, then using theabove ground metro to the Sultanahmet stop? I've heard the latter might be more convenient than the seabus/ferry.
