We have been upgraded more than we deserved through the years, though not since those "enhancements" came into being! But we don't remember hearing "the beep". Is that something new? In 2012 I was taken aside at the gate at LAX. My thought was that I was in some sort of trouble, not about to be upgraded. We were all still on edge. I saw that my husband had been taken aside as well but it turned out that we were upped to CW.
