A friend was taking a Princess cruise round-trip from San Francisco. We asked to have lunch with her on board. Our ID info was sent in earlier and a credit card number to pay for the pre-fix 3 course lunch that was served in the Main dining room. We had a welcome aboard photo taken and had it as a momento to take home. The charge is now a credit for a future sailing on Princess.

If we were guest visitors for a Crystal passenger, the cruiseline will place a beverage/service charge on the passenger's bill. Prior to boarding, the passenger can choose where they wish to dine with their guest: Lido, Main Dining room, or specialty restaurants and the appropriate charges will be added. --It has been years since we last sailed from SF, our home port and have yet to invite friends on board.
