Maybe the reason you're arriving at that conclusion is because you think the volume of "TODs" is high. Based on the volume of posts by the eagle-eyed UA FT observers who are on the lookout for them on a constant basis I would say the volume is minuscule. In the vast majority of cases the buy-up prices are ridiculously high.

There's nothing "equally compelling" about your conclusion that I can see from the data I've looked very closely at here and elsewhere.

Are you joining the tiny minority here by saying that CPUs *will* process at the upgrade windows if there is R inventory and everything is processed correctly? That's just not how it works.

Broadly agree with this, except they *do* also release vast amounts of CPU inventory at the upgrade windows. There's just no discernible pattern as an outsider (e.g. looking at R inventory).
