Hello and can anyone help concerning the following enquiry pls?
How much time should I prudently allow for checked through BAGGAGE as distinct from PASSENGERS to transit through Madrid Airport -plane to plane- from Terminal 4 (Schengen arriving from LHR) to Terminal4S (non Schengen and thence to S America)?
I appreciate the need to take into account a) time for passengers to offload at T4 before baggage can be offloaded b) the availability (or otherwise) of an offloading crew/equipment c) time to offload/sort/transport the baggage to T4S and load it onto the 2nd plane before it is scheduled to depart.
Would 45 mins be sufficient for all of this?
