Same experience here as a Silver. Booked flight from EDI-LCY around 2 months ago. Looked at seatmap last week and all was well. Came back around T-72 to see if anything better had opened up at the front of the cabin and couldn't look at the map. Check-in was fine at T-24 (although there was nothing good left!).
