AA's new business class seat is the same as Cathay's, which is amazing and better than BA's. One concern, though, is that if there were any equipment change on AA, you'd be stuck on a terrible angled lie-flat seat, and such changes are not that uncommon, especially this far out. BA's service level will be much much higher than AA, as will their food, wine, etc.
