just cancelled my 241 iad-blr rt in cw and booked 241 sfo-blr rt in club world

my experience

the avios and 241 redeposit was instant - logged out and back in as suggested

needed 16k miles for the new booking - didn't realize that the west coast - india rt is 200k in cw - purchased during booking

cancellation, purchase of required avios and new booking done in 5 minutes

the avios purchase $465 and new fees $3166 hit my credit card immediately - no sign of the credit for the fees refund for the original reservation yet - no worries since i got the sfo-blr on the dates i wanted - will wait a few days before calling ba about refund

the online cancellation fee for the original reservation is $40pp - total $80
