Tend to agree. It's hard for anyone who wasn't there to make a judgement on whether a diversion was necessary or not. If there was no threat to the integrity of the aircraft, and no injuries beyond first aid, a decision to divert would not be taken lightly.

And surely, if anything, it would be a medical diversion not an "emergency landing".
